Baby Brezza Recalls 29,000 SuperFast Sterilizer Dryers Over Overheating

Baby Brezza Enterprises is recalling about 29,000 SuperFast Sterilizer Dryers, the countertop machines that sterilize and dry baby bottles and breast pump parts. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, they can overheat while plugged in and running, and anyone who handles the hot surface risks a burn. Baby Brezza has received 32 reports of units overheating or the plastic housing melting. No injuries have been reported. Stop using yours now. The remedy is a free replacement, shipped at no cost.

The recall was announced on November 5, 2026 (CPSC recall number 27-072). About 4,500 more units were sold in Canada.

Which sterilizer dryers are covered

The recall covers the SuperFast Sterilizer Dryer, a countertop appliance with a push-button control that sterilizes and dries bottles, breast pump parts and accessories in ten minutes. Three model numbers are recalled: BRZ0083, BRZ0154 and BRZ0156.

To check yours, turn the unit over. CPSC says the model number is printed on the product label on the bottom of the unit.

They were sold at TJ Maxx and Marshalls stores nationwide and online at babybrezza.com, target.com and babylist.com, from January 2024 through October 2026, for between $160 and $180. They were made in China and imported by Baby Brezza Enterprises LLC of Newark, New Jersey.

What to do

  1. Stop using it now. CPSC's instruction is to stop using the sterilizer dryer immediately, not to keep running it while you wait for the replacement.
  2. Register with Baby Brezza. Go to babybrezza.com/pages/about?view=v3-recalls, or open babybrezza.com and click "Product Safety Recall" at the bottom of the page, then complete the recall form. The phone line is 888-527-9824, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday.
  3. Then destroy the old one. Baby Brezza's process is to unplug the unit, cut the power cord, and send photos of the model number label, the destroyed appliance and your return authorization number. CPSC's recall notice gives the address to send them to. Cutting the cord cannot be undone, so confirm the model number first.
  4. Dispose of it according to your local and state rules once the photos are in.

Baby Brezza then sends a replacement sterilizer dryer free, with shipping paid.

Why we are running this

We do not rate Baby Brezza, and this recall changes no score on this site. We are running it because of where this appliance sits: on a kitchen counter, in daily use, in a house with a newborn, handled by parents who are short on sleep. 32 reports of overheating or melting housing with no injuries yet is the point at which a recall does its job, and only if owners act on it.

It is the second countertop recall CPSC announced today. The Gourmia air fryer oven recall is a burn hazard too, but its remedy is a doorstop kit you fit yourself. This one is a straight swap: the old unit is destroyed and a new one arrives. The cut-the-cord-and-send-photos process is the same one Cooluli used for its minifridge recall in August.

Our repair-or-replace guide is for appliances that break and need a paid repair. It does not apply here. There is no quote to weigh and nothing to buy. The replacement is free from Baby Brezza, so there is no reason to pay for a different sterilizer before you have claimed it.
